On 29 October 2026, NASA launched a campaign inviting the public to register their names for an electronic chip aboard Dragonfly, a spacecraft bound for Titan, one of Saturn's moons.
Participants receive a commemorative digital card; this is not a booking for human travel. The agency set the registration deadline at 11:59 p.m. US Eastern Standard Time on 15 January 2027, equivalent to 8:59 a.m. on 16 January in Oman.
The spacecraft is scheduled to launch in 2028, with arrival planned for 2034. The mission aims to study Titan's environments and prebiotic chemistry to help researchers understand the conditions and ingredients associated with the origins of life.
